    30 May 2025

A drive to champion Technicians and their contributions at ÎåÒ»³Ô¹Ï×îйÙÍø has been recognised with an award for the impact it has made.

This work has seen action taken across the institution over the last three years to boost the recognition, visibility and sustainability of technical skills – as well as to the career development of Technicians.

As we mark eight years of the Technician Commitment this weekend, Head of Technical Development and Laboratory Manager Dr Victoria Talbot looks back at some recent achievements in this guest blog.

It was great to pick up the award on behalf of everyone at ÎåÒ»³Ô¹Ï×îйÙÍø!

Off the back of the self-assessment we were chosen to receive an Award of Impact at the Technician Commitment’s signatory event held at Queen’s University Belfast – their first signatory event in Northern Ireland.

I’d like to thank everyone at ÎåÒ»³Ô¹Ï×îйÙÍø who has been involved in contributing
